Our plans - what's behind the nylon curtain?

One line plan

We plan to make pantyhose for men a mainstream clothing item.


1. To show (to gather interest)

Main objective: to show that pantyhose can be worn as a regular clothing item by men.

Tools:
- photo series
- videos
- fashion sketches
- other visual tools yet to be defined.


2. To communicate (to inspire)

Main objective: to reach the industry participants, the media, the general audience and the pantyhose wearing audience.

Tools:
- website
- press kit, manufacturer's kit, sales/marketing kit (partly at hosierymarketing.com)
- press & industry representative handling issues over phone, email


3. To cooperate (to help)

Main objective: to help develop new products (manufacturers), setting up new shops (merchants/retailers), create new fashion styles (designers), publish new articles (media).

Tools:
- providing valuable market data collected through the web
- providing feedback from pantyhose wearers
- providing a deep and overall knowledge of the issue.


So how will we do it? The action plan.

- We started the photo part. Financing from the advertisements you see throughout the website made it possible. We also hope to be able to count on donations from the community (see the help page).

- Hopefully after the third or fourth photo set published, we will have a media coverage that itself will able generate enough attention for the initial success of the second part (communicate). At that stage it would be very useful to employ somebody to handle these issues in person. As of the finances coming in, it would be around the fall-winter of 2008, maybe even later.

- After that we should help (with advices = knowledge) the interested parties develop their businesses, sell their new hosiery products, reach their market. This might need another person.
