In 2001 Comfilon expanded the product selection to include additional pantyhose and tights from a second supplier, as well as thigh highs and foot covers.

And then in 2002 came the media blitz: articles in the Wall Street Journal and dozens of other newspapers started a frenzy that resulted in over 80 radio and TV interviews, including the BBC and CNN.

Late that year Steve hired a marketing consulting firm to guide their growth. The consulting firm invented the brand name Activskin and totally redid the web site, relegating the Comfilon brand to second tier status and focusing on Activskin for sports. 

The consultants also redesigned the product packaging, and began to take on distributors, starting with England and Germany.

The image shows an early version of Activskin pantyhose. Comfilon now uses both Comfilon and Activskin brand names.
