In 1999 Steve opened the online shop (you can see an archived image of the first Comfilon website here).

They started selling two styles: A549 and A849, which are still current, in one color and three sizes each.

A549 is sheer pantyhose with light support and with a fly opening. It has an invisible, but reinforced toe and a reinforced brief. It's very durable, and practically it is the first real pantyhose for men - it's made out of thin 15 den nylon, it's sheer, and it has the fly opening.

The A849 opaque tights are heavier and they also have the fly opening.

Shortly after opening the shop Steve recognised there was need for additional products.


Introducing male pantyhose to the world - from 2000 to 2002


In the year 2000 Comfilon started to broaden its product line with more colors and with knee highs. They also started experimenting with limited online advertising to see the size of their potential market.
