e-MANcipate
e-MANcipate is a private, non-commercial inititative with revenues from the website used for creating photos promoting the issue.
We are here to break the rules of what men are obliged to wear, defined by the tradition of modern times, as we are not satisfied with wearing boring suits only.
We believe that pantyhose for men can be an everyday clothing item, and that it can be fashionable as well. Throughout e-MANcipate, with our photos, we are trying to illustrate it as well.
We want to promote / achieve gender equality for men, to eradicate sexism that is attached to us by forcing men to the classical macho roles and to a limited number of acceptable clothes / outfits. (And by the way, are all the women who wear trousers crossdressers?)

We think that guys could really show off their legs in a manly way, as they did it for centuries.
Dressing up is fun, and men should be finally part of it, too (doubts? ask a woman!!!).
Male legs are a terra incognita, and could be illustrated with pantyhose well.

Chan and the history of e-MANcipate
As Chinese newspaper "Global Times" recently wrote, Chan Kraemer loves tights and wants you to love them too.
Project e-MANcipate was founded back in 2003, as Chan Kraemer, a long-time hosiery wearer was fed up with the fact that his favorite piece of clothing was considered as a female-only item. Even worse, many people associated the male pantyhose wearing habit with fetishes and other such issues.
Chan decided to create a page on the net that provides tasteful images, to show that pantyhose for men - or as we call now, 'mantyhose' - can be a fashionable clothing item without any side thoughts or negative associations.
e-MANcipate slowly evolved into an online medium, promoter of the mantyhose, a community center. Chan also plans to launch his own mantyhose line soon. If you are a manufacturer feel free to contact us with this issue!
