Don't buy female pantyhose at all
1. Don't strengthen those companies who don't produce/sell male pantyhose. We have asked many times, many pantyhose manufacturers to produce and market male pantyhose. Buying means voting with our purses - so if they don't take care about us, why would we take care about them? Why should we vote them if they ignore our needs?
2. When you purchase female pantyhose you strengthen the wrong market.Nobody will know (except maybe the salespersons in the shop) that you actually buy the pantyhose for yourself. So the guys sitting in the decision making positions will believe that ladies are still buying this and that kind of pantyhose, and will less likely to think that it's time to come up with a male pantyhose product line.
3. Don't think it doesn't count! Yes it does count which pantyhose you buy. Every pair and every cent counts. The hosiery industry is in a trouble now and they are looking at sales numbers with magnifying glasses. They are more likely to go into niche markets like maternity pantyhose, footless tights, shape forming pantyhose etc. - and, if the get a clue, male pantyhose.
4. Your purchasings are limited - why would you waste that power when you can buy male pantyhose? Nobody buys an unlimited amount of pantyhose. Go after and calculate how much you spend for pantyhose in a year - this is your purchasing power. Multiply it with three, and a nice figure will come out. It's advisable that if you take the male pantyhose issue seriously, at least the half of it should go to men's pantyhose producers and sellers - especially now that there are many kind of to choose from.
